In 2004 a friend was expecting her first child. I wanted to give her something extra special. However, I couldn't find anything that was different or
personal enough. I thought of buying flowers, but they don't last very long, & many of hospitals no longer allow flowers on wards for health &
safety reasons.
I wanted a gift that treated both mum & baby. It was then I came up with the idea of Baby Bouquets © - a bouquet made up of baby products with
flowers that are functional!
She adored it & kept the bouquet on display in the ward until she was ready to go home. It attracted so much attention I was inundated with people
asking for me to make one for them. I soon realised there was a real need for unique & personal baby gifts - so the idea of Little Syd Gifts &
Celebrations © was born! |
Little Syd is named after my niece Sydni, who has inspired our cheeky little logo above. I hope to soon expand the business to involve my growing number of
nieces & nephews - so watch this space!
